As Head of Product Design, you will shape the future of user experience at 1inch by driving the vision, strategy, and execution of design across all our products in crypto, blockchain, and DeFi. You are a key leader aligning design with business goals and technology innovation, influencing product roadmaps at the executive level and inspiring teams to deliver world-class, user-centered experiences.

You will ensure validated, end-to-end UX flows are delivered ahead of launch milestones, using data, experimentation, and user insight to reduce late-stage UX changes and accelerate delivery. Design under your leadership directly supports revenue growth through higher trading conversion, improved retention, and a cohesive, scalable product experience. By strengthening design systems and cross-functional collaboration, you help reduce UX-related support tickets and raise the overall quality bar across platforms.

This role requires a strategic mindset, strong leadership, deep Web3 and crypto UX expertise, and the ability to operate seamlessly across product, engineering, marketing, and business teams.

Key Responsibilities

Lead long-term UX planning across 1inch products, defining a multi-year design direction while delivering fast, incremental improvements that balance innovation, scalability, and reliable execution.
Own UX readiness for product launches, ensuring validated end-to-end user flows are delivered ahead of engineering milestones and late-stage UX changes are minimized.
Ensure a cohesive, user-centric product experience at scale through strong design system adoption
Oversee the evolution of the design system, brand consistency, and accessibility standards across all platforms.
Manage and grow a team of Product Designers, including hiring, mentorship, performance management, and long-term career development.

Requirements

7+ years of progressive experience in UX/UI/Product Design leadership roles, ideally in crypto, fintech, or complex tech ecosystems.
Proven track record of managing and scaling design teams delivering cross-platform products (web, iOS, Android).
Proven ownership of design systems and scalable UX foundations across multiple products.
Demonstrated ability to drive measurable business outcomes (conversion, retention, revenue) through design.
Deep understanding of UX principles, interaction design, accessibility, and branding within blockchain/Web3 context.
Strong strategic thinking with the ability to balance visionary leadership and operational execution.
Excellent communication and storytelling skills for diverse audiences, including executives and technical teams.
Fluent English communication skills (written and spoken), with the ability to clearly articulate complex design concepts to executive and technical audiences.

Nice to Have

Background in cryptocurrency DeFi and blockchain ecosystems.
UX or product design certifications (e.g. Nielsen Norman Group) are a plus.
