Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
The Outlet Head Waiter will be responsible for the following:
- To attend pre-service briefings for daily updates, ensuring active and regular communication within the team and that all tasks are followed up efficiently prior to guest s arrival.
- Ensuring that the opening and closing of the outlet is organised. This includes making sure that there is always adequate mise en place, setting up the restaurant before the guest s arrival and performing all duties related to the closing of the outlet.
- Ensuring that all steps throughout the sequence of service are thoroughly followed and should there be any gaps or delay, to ask for help in a timely manner, so that the guest experience is not negatively impacted.
- To understand and operate the POS system.
- To prepare and present bills accurately.
- To ensure service and Back of House areas are always kept clean and work is conducted according to the MOHG standards of FLHSS.
- To perform any other reasonable duties as required by Management.
Desired Candidate Profile
Previous relevant experience.
- To be willing to work a flexible schedule to accomplish all major responsibilities and tasks.
- Must be a self-motivator and spread positivity within the team.
- Must work in a safe, prudent, and organized manner.
- Must be able to relate to all levels of Guests and management.
- Can handle multiple tasks at one time.
- Be able to consistently delight and satisfy our Guest.
- Very good communication skills are essential.
- Must have excellent attention to detail.
- Local and international food and beverage awareness is a plus.
- Very good command of spoken French & English.
