Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Lead sales growth of heavy commercial vehicles in export markets across the Middle East and North Africa. Manage distributor networks, penetrate key fleet and government accounts, win large-scale tenders, and deliver sustainable revenue, profitability, and market share growth in line with company strategy.

ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Market Development

  • Identify and prioritize export markets with the highest HCV growth potential.
  • Manage distributors/importers, ensuring compliance with brand and facility standards.
  • Conduct market research on demand trends, competition, regulations, and opportunities.

2. Sales & Business Growth

  • Deliver annual sales, margin, and market share targets by country.
  • Manage fleet and government tendering processes, from bid preparation to final negotiation.
  • Optimize product mix for regional demand.
  • Build strong relationships with key accounts (fleet owners, logistics providers, construction companies, ministries).

3. Export Operations & Compliance

  • Manage order-to-cash cycle: quotations, contracts, letters of credit, shipping, and documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with country-specific homologation standards (e.g., GCC/GSO, SASO, ESMA).
  • Monitor and mitigate risks related to trade sanctions, customs, and local regulations.

4. Forecasting & Planning

  • Provide accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual sales forecasts per model and market.
  • Align demand with production schedules and logistics planning.
  • Implement Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) reviews with HQ.

CANDIDATE PROFILE

  • 1015 years in heavy commercial vehicles (trucks/buses/trailers), with at least 4 5 years in export or MENA-focused sales.
  • Strong exposure to government tenders, fleet accounts, and distributor/channel management.
  • Bachelor s degree in Business, Automotive Engineering, or related. MBA is an advantage.
  • Strong negotiation and closing skills.
  • Cultural adaptability and ability to manage multi-country stakeholders.
  • Analytical, target-driven, and resilient under pressure.
