Job Title: Helper - Electrical Installation

The Helper is responsible for providing support to installation teams during the Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI) rollout. The role involves assisting with material handling, site preparation, basic installation tasks, and ensuring a safe and efficient work environment.

Key Responsibilities: • Assist installers and technicians in the installation of smart meters, communication enclosures, cables, and related equipment. • Support with the transportation, handling, and organization of tools, materials, and equipment at project sites. • Prepare work areas by cleaning, arranging materials, and ensuring accessibility for installation teams. • Aid in routing and laying cables, positioning enclosures, and mounting devices as directed by installers. • Help with basic tasks such as unpacking equipment, holding materials in place, and passing tools during installation activities. • Maintain cleanliness and orderliness at the work site, disposing of waste and unused materials appropriately. • Follow instructions from installers and site supervisors to ensure compliance with safety protocols and project requirements. • Assist in loading and unloading materials from vehicles and storage areas. • Report any site hazards or equipment issues to the installation team or supervisor. • Support the installation team in completing tasks efficiently and within project timelines.
