Roles & Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement sales strategies targeting the UAE HORECA sector to achieve revenue and growth objectives.
  • Identify, acquire, and manage key accounts, including international hotel chains, high-end restaurants, catering companies, and coffee chains.
  • Negotiate contracts, pricing, and trade terms in alignment with company profit goals and market positioning.
  • Monitor competitor activity, product performance, and market trends to identify opportunities for brand expansion.
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to execute promotional campaigns, tasting events, and trade exhibitions (e.g., Gulfood, The Hotel Show).
  • Ensure excellent customer service and after-sales support to maintain long-term partnerships.
  • Coordinate with logistics and supply chain teams to ensure timely product delivery and availability.
  • Prepare accurate forecasts, sales reports, and performance reviews for senior management.
  • Lead, motivate, and coach a team of sales executives/representatives to achieve individual and team targets.
  • Set clear KPIs, monitor field performance, and conduct regular performance reviews.
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets for the HORECA division.
  • Analyze sales data and market trends to identify performance gaps and improvement areas.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets within the HORECA segment, especially with rice.
  • Strong network of HORECA contacts in the UAE market.
  • Deep understanding of the UAE FMCG and hospitality industry.
  • Strong negotiation and closing skills with corporate and SME clients.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with fluency in English (Arabic is a plus).
  • Familiarity with CRM tools, ERP systems, and sales reporting software.
  • Culturally adaptable and comfortable working in a multinational environment.
  • Bachelor s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or Hospitality Management.
  • 5 8 years of experience in HORECA sales, preferably within beverages or food distribution in the UAE/GCC.
  • Valid UAE driving license (essential).
