Roles & Responsibilities
About The Role
- Greet arriving guests, escort them to their table and provide estimated wait times (if applicable).
- Strive for customer satisfaction by meeting all personal and special requests of guests
- Answer the telephone, speak with anticipated guests that call to inquire about the menu, call ahead seating, wait times, comments/complaints, etc.
- Supervise the team of hostesses which involves, organizing wait times, deciding other hostess duties, and directing them where to seat guests
- Maintain waiting list, reservations, and seating chart for entire restaurant throughout service
- Monitor dining rooms for seating availability, service, safety, and wellbeing of guests
- Constantly communicate with the Restaurant Manager as well as all front of the house staff
