Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Responsibilities
- Perform daily cleaning, sanitizing, and maintenance of guest rooms, bathrooms, corridors, lobbies, elevators, and public areas.
- Restock and replenish all guest amenities, linens, towels, and cleaning supplies in a timely and organized manner.
- Follow standardized cleaning procedures and checklists to ensure consistency and compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Report maintenance issues, damages, or equipment malfunctions promptly to the supervisor or housekeeping manager.
- Handle and dispose of waste and hazardous materials according to environmental and safety guidelines.
- Maintain a clean and organized storage area for cleaning tools, chemicals, and supplies.
- Assist with deep cleaning tasks, including carpet shampooing, window cleaning, and upholstery care as required.
- Collaborate with team members to meet cleaning targets and support peak occupancy periods.
- Adhere to all company policies, hygiene standards, and guest confidentiality protocols.
- Demonstrate professionalism, courtesy, and discretion when interacting with guests and colleagues.
Requirements
- Minimum 1 3 years of proven experience in housekeeping or cleaning within a hospitality environment (hotels, resorts, or similar).
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in using standard cleaning equipment and chemical products safely and effectively.
- Basic understanding of health, safety, and sanitation practices in hospitality settings.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
- Willingness to work flexible shifts, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
