Housekeeping Manager MERCURE

T ches :

• Establish operational budgets for the HK department;
• Establish a staffing plan aligned with the hotel's occupancy rate;
• Manage department-specific purchases based on revenue trends;
• Participate in meetings (Profit and Loss) and communicate effectively about HK results;
• Optimize and plan the management of electricity and water expenses;
• Create a positive social climate that encourages employee contribution and commitment to the hotel's vision;
• Promote the integration of new recruits;
• Establish a professional training program document;
• Provide training to field staff;
• Conduct performance assessment interviews with team members and provide constructive feedback based on each person's strengths and areas for improvement;
• Sanction in accordance with procedures when necessary;
• Conduct monthly departmental meetings;
• Communicate and collaborate effectively with senior management and other departments;
• Use entrepreneurship and innovation to improve the customer experience;
• Ensure that all hotel standards are met;
• Ensure the correct and legal use of cleaning chemicals and associated protective equipment;
• Manage found objects;
• Prevent and manage complaints;
• Manage the preventive maintenance program for rooms;
• Be proactive in the choice of uniforms, linens and carpets, furnishing fabrics, etc.;
• Create and innovate room setups according to VIP levels;
• Supervise the laundry room, common areas, floral decoration and green spaces;
• Ensure that the security check procedure has been carried out by the housekeeper;
• Ensure the application of the HACCP system by monitoring the application of the cleaning program for surfaces in restaurants, restrooms, and men's and women's personal changing rooms.

Profile :

• Ideally, a graduate from a top hospitality school.
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a General Housekeeper in an international hotel chain.
• Fluent in French and English, both written and spoken.
• Proficiency in Op ra software for hospitality in addition to MS Office Word and Excel.
• Team leader capable of inspiring his team and getting them to share the company's vision.
• Able to train his team.
