Job Description

As a Housekeeping Trainer, you will be playing a crucial role in maintaining the quality and efficiency of housekeeping services within our organization. You will be responsible for developing, implementing, and evaluating training programs that ensure our housekeeping staff are equipped with the necessary skills, knowledge, and behaviors to maintain our exemplary standards of cleanliness and customer service. Your expertise will help enhance employee performance and satisfaction, ultimately bolstering our brand reputation. You are expected to stay up-to-date with the latest housekeeping techniques and hygiene standards, actively incorporating these into your training modules. By acting as a mentor to housekeeping staff, your goal is to foster a culture of excellence and continuous improvement in all aspects of their work.


Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement comprehensive training programs for housekeeping staff.
  • Assess the training needs of housekeeping employees and create suitable learning plans.
  • Conduct training sessions on proper cleaning techniques and equipment usage.
  • Evaluate trainee performance and provide constructive feedback for improvement.
  • Ensure all training materials comply with safety regulations and industry standards.
  • Monitor and assess housekeeping procedures to identify areas for improvement.
  • Maintain records of training sessions and employee progress effectively and accurately.
  • Stay informed about new housekeeping products and innovations and train staff accordingly.
  • Foster a positive and engaging learning environment for all housekeeping employees.
  • Collaborate with management to align training initiatives with organizational goals.
  • Conduct on-the-job training to reinforce classroom teachings and ensure applicability.
  • Regularly audit cleaning standards and promptly address any compliance issues.

Requirements
  • Proven experience as a housekeeping supervisor or trainer in a hospitality setting.
  • Strong knowledge of housekeeping procedures, cleaning products, and equipment.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to effectively conduct training.
  • Ability to create engaging training material and effectively present it to employees.
  • Strong observational and analytical skills to assess skills and performance accurately.
  • Certification in hospitality, sanitation, or a related field will be advantageous.
  • Proficiency in using computer software to manage training records and materials.
