Job Description

The HR Assistant plays a crucial role in supporting the human resources department by undertaking a variety of administrative and clerical tasks. This role requires someone who is organized, efficient, and able to adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment. As an HR Assistant, you will be responsible for maintaining employee records, ensuring compliance with labor laws, and assisting with recruitment and onboarding processes. You will also act as the first point of contact for HR-related queries, providing information and guidance on various HR policies and procedures. This role is ideal for an individual who is detail-oriented and possesses strong communication skills.


Responsibilities
  • Assist in the recruitment process by posting job ads and organizing resumes.
  • Schedule interviews and assist in the interview process when necessary.
  • Prepare and update employee records and ensure information accuracy.
  • Assist in the onboarding process for new hires and ensure a smooth integration.
  • Maintain and update employee files to ensure compliance with company policies.
  • Respond to internal and external HR-related inquiries or requests promptly.
  • Coordinate and manage the logistics of employee training sessions and events.
  • Support the management of payroll tasks and monitor attendance records.
  • Participate in HR projects, such as setting up engagement activities and culture initiatives.
  • Ensure smooth communication with employees and timely resolution of their concerns.
  • Assist in performance management processes and help in the preparation of reports on HR metrics.
  • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive employee information and ensure data protection.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field preferred.
  • Proven experience as an HR Assistant or relevant administrative position.
  • Strong ability to handle data with confidentiality and discretion.
  • Familiarity with Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) is beneficial.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and general office administration tools.
