Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Audit employment contracts for compliance with Federal Decree Law No. 33 of 2021
  • Review probation, notice periods, terminations, disciplinary actions, and leave practices
  • Assess working hours and overtime compliance (125% / 150% rules)
  • Identify risks related to arbitrary termination and labour disputes
  • Review payroll structure (basic vs allowances)
  • Recalculate and verify End of Service Benefits (EOSB)
  • Audit overtime, leave deductions, and final settlements
  • Ensure compliance with Wage Protection System (WPS)
  • Conduct payroll reconciliation checks before approval
  • Audit employee files for completeness and accuracy
  • Review visa/work permit records and MOHRE alignment
  • Identify job title discrepancies and renewal tracking gaps
  • Prepare structured audit reports (findings, legal reference, risk level, financial exposure, corrective actions)
  • Present risk summaries to management
  • Develop and monitor corrective action plans
  • Conduct follow-up audits to ensure closure

  • Strong knowledge of UAE Labour Law (mandatory)
  • Experience auditing payroll, EOSB, and WPS compliance
  • Familiarity with MOHRE processes
  • Strong Excel skills and reporting capability
  • Strong analytical and risk assessment skills

  • Strong written reporting ability
