Roles & Responsibilities
Job Title: HR Manager – FMCG Industry
Location: Dubai, UAE
Experience Required: Minimum 5+ Years as HR Manager (Preferably in FMCG/Manufacturing Industry)
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic HR Manager with a strong background in the FMCG industry to oversee and manage all human resource functions across the organization. The ideal candidate should have extensive knowledge of UAE Labour Law, MOHRE regulations, JAFZA compliance procedures, payroll administration, recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and HR operations.
The candidate must be capable of handling end-to-end HR activities in a fast-paced manufacturing/FMCG environment while ensuring legal compliance and organizational growth.
Key Responsibilities
HR Operations & Administration
Manage complete HR operations including recruitment, onboarding, employee lifecycle management, and offboarding.
Develop and implement HR policies and procedures in line with UAE Labour Law and company requirements.
Maintain employee records, contracts, visa documentation, and HR databases.
Handle attendance, leave management, overtime, payroll coordination, and employee documentation.
Recruitment & Talent Acquisition
Lead recruitment activities for all departments including blue-collar and white-collar staffing.
Coordinate manpower planning with department heads.
Conduct interviews, salary negotiations, and onboarding formalities.
Build talent pipelines for operational and managerial positions.
UAE Labour Law, MOHRE & JAFZA Compliance
Ensure full compliance with MOHRE regulations, UAE Labour Law, and JAFZA requirements.
Handle labour contracts, work permits, visa processing, Emirates ID, medical insurance, and employee relations matters.
Coordinate with PROs, government authorities, and free zone authorities regarding employee documentation and approvals.
Manage disciplinary actions, warning letters, investigations, and termination procedures as per legal standards.
Employee Relations & Performance Management
Address employee grievances and maintain a positive work environment.
Support performance appraisal systems, KPI implementation, and employee development plans.
Promote employee engagement and retention initiatives.
Conduct HR meetings, counseling sessions, and training programs.
Compensation & Benefits
Assist in salary benchmarking, increment structures, grading systems, and compensation planning.
Ensure accurate payroll processing and WPS compliance.
Monitor employee benefits including insurance, leave balances, gratuity calculations, and settlements.
HR Strategy & Reporting
Prepare HR reports, manpower reports, turnover analysis, and management dashboards.
Support organizational restructuring, workforce planning, and HR budgeting.
Advise management on HR best practices and compliance matters.
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
Minimum 5+ years of experience as HR Manager in FMCG, Manufacturing, or Industrial sector.
Strong knowledge of UAE Labour Law, MOHRE systems, and JAFZA regulations.
Experience handling payroll, WPS, recruitment, employee relations, and HR operations.
Excellent communication and leadership skills.
Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
Proficiency in MS Office and HRMS systems.
Ability to work in a fast-paced multicultural environment.
Desired Candidate Profile
Experience in factory/manufacturing environment.
Knowledge of grading structures, salary bands, and workforce planning.
Ability to manage large workforce and multi-location operations.
Strong decision-making and conflict-resolution skills
