Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  1. Organizational Structure & Manpower Planning:

  • Develop, maintain, and periodically update the organizational chart for all divisions.

Conduct manpower planning in coordination with Division Heads based on approved budgets and future business requirements.

  • Ensure Job Descriptions (JDs) are prepared, reviewed, and updated for all positions.

  • Evaluate workforce gaps and recommend recruitment or restructuring actions.

Manage the full recruitment lifecycle.


2. Talent Acquisition & Recruitment

  • Lead the end-to-end recruitment process: requisition, sourcing, selection, and onboarding.

  • Define and implement salary ranges (min–max) for each grade/category in coordination with Finance.

  • Build and manage relationships with recruitment agencies ensuring cost and timeline efficiency.

Maintain records of new hires and track probation confirmations.

  • Ensure proper tracking of recruitment activities in the system.


3.Learning, Development & Performance Management

  • Develop and implement training plans for employees to enhance skills and productivity.

  • Coordinate with external trainers and ensure post-training evaluations.

  • Guide managers on Performance Improvement Plans (PIP).

  • Implement KPI-based Performance Appraisal Systems across departments.

  • Recommend performance-based increments, rewards, and development initiatives.

  • Manage HRMS / HR ERP systems.


4. Compensation, Benefits & Remuneration:

  • Ensure fair and transparent salary structures for all employees (local & expats).

  • Conduct salary benchmarking and propose adjustments based on market trends.

  • Manage end-of-service benefits, leave entitlements, and statutory compliance.

  • Maintain employee records (files, leave, attendance, passport, documentation).

  • Ensure timely visa cancellations and related processes


  1. HR Policies, Rules & Regulations:

  • Draft, review, and implement HR policies in line with Oman Labour Law.

  • Ensure consistent implementation of company rules and disciplinary procedures.

  • Communicate policy updates and ensure employee compliance.

  • Handle government portals (Tawteen / ROP).

  • Coordinate HR documentation for audits.

  • Prepare employment contracts, warning letters, termination letters, and settlements.


  1. Employee Relations & Engagement

  • Monitor workplace health and safety compliance.

  • Promote a positive and inclusive work culture.

  • Handle grievances, exit interviews, and feedback analysis.

  • Drive employee engagement, welfare programs, and recognition initiatives.


7.Reporting & Board Coordination:

  • Provide regular HR reports to management covering:

  • Manpower status

  • Recruitment updates

  • Attrition trends

  • Salary benchmarks

  • Present HR dashboards and strategic action plans.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • This is a full-time on-site role for a Human Resources Manager based in Muscat, Oman. The Human Resources Manager will oversee HR operations, including recruitment, employee onboarding, compliance, performance management, and training initiatives.

  • The role involves developing HR policies, fostering a positive workplace culture, and ensuring alignment with organizational goals. Additionally, the manager will collaborate with leadership teams to manage employee relations and drive strategic human resource planning.

  • Qualifications Proficiency in Recruitment, Talent Acquisition, and Employee Onboarding practices Strong skills in HR Compliance, Policy Development, and Labor Law adherence.

  • Experience in Performance Management, Employee Relations, and Training Program Implementation Excellent organizational and interpersonal communication skills Demonstrated ability to mentor teams and foster inclusive workplace environments.

  • Proficiency in HR software and systems is a plus Master's in Human Resources Management

  • Minimum 10 to 15 years of HR Manager experience, specifically within the FMCG or Retail industry.

  • Candidate Preference: Native candidates from Kerala are preferred for this position.

  • Candidates with either GCC experience or strong Indian experience are welcome to apply.
