Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
· Ensure implementation of Company HSE policies, HSE procedures, and programs to ensure compliance with local and international regulations and best practices.
· Prepare site specific HSE Plans, Procedures as per the contract documents and submission to consultant/ client for securing timely approvals.
· Conduct regular HSE risk assessments to identify hazards and potential risks to the project site.
· Make recommendations for mitigation measures for implementation
· Ensure and deliver HSE training programs to employees, sub-contractors and induction trainings to visitors/ new comers are compiled asper the approved plans
· Monitor and report on HSE performance on a monthly basis to QHSE Manager / Project Manager and submission to client asper the client requirements.
· Schedule and participate in Monthly HSE meetings and ensure the necessary points are captured and recorded
· Ensure the incidents are reported to PM/QHSE Manager asper the company procedures.
· Conduct incident investigations along with site team for site accidents, incidents, and near misses, and develop and implement corrective and preventive actions
· Maintain accurate and up-to-date Project HSE records and documentation
· Participate in Company Internal Audit, Client Audits and Third-party audits.
· Ensure the raised observations, non-compliances reclosed out as per the agreed time frame.
· Update the HSE regulations and maintain Legal records at site for verification and compliance.
· Ensure the welfare measures are in place to protect the site employees in all weather conditions
Desired Candidate Profile
· Degree in Engineering with NEBOSH - Level 3certification.
· Having project experience of Wet utility projects with government agencies.
· Familiarize with the Infrastructure projects, shutdown activities and road diversion work.
· Minimum 8to 10years in HSE field, at least 5Years of UAE/ Middle East experience.
· Fluent in English Communication skills (reading, writing and speaking).
· Arabic is preferred Strong knowledge of local and international HSE regulations and best practice.
· Holding ADOSH Safety Practitioner certificate is preferred
