Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Conduct daily safety patrols to identify hazards and ensure compliance with EHS and safety regulations.

  • Ensure availability, proper use, and upkeep of PPE, safety signage, fire extinguishers, and first-aid facilities.

  • Assist in incident, near-miss investigations and prepare safety reports and summaries.

  • Support emergency response activities, including fire drills and incident coordination.

  • Coordinate safety training, toolbox talks, and maintain attendance and training records.

  • Liaise with external vendors for firefighting systems, waste management, pest control, and chemical wastewater disposal.

  • Maintain safety documentation, permits, MIS reports, and monthly safety KPIs.

  • Promote a strong safety culture and continuous improvement across the facility.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • 3–5 years of relevant experience in a safety / HSE role

  • Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Safety, Engineering, or related field

  • Professional safety certification such as NEBOSH, IOSH, or equivalent

  • Working knowledge of UAE HSE and environmental regulations

  • Hands-on experience in industrial, manufacturing, or facility environments preferred

  • Exposure to UAE HSE regulations and waste management standards

  • Strong knowledge of HSE regulations and safe work practices

  • Good communication and reporting skills

  • Ability to identify hazards and follow up on corrective actions

  • Time management and organizational skills

  • Basic incident investigation and safety training capability
