Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

The QHSE Engineer is responsible for ensuring that all quality, health, safety, and environmental standards are consistently implemented and maintained across operations. This role develops and enforces quality control procedures, conducts inspections, and manages documentation in compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements. They coordinate HSE initiatives, perform risk assessments, and lead incident investigations to promote a safe working environment. The QHSE Engineer also supports audits, vendor evaluations, and employee training, contributing to continuous improvement across systems and processes.


  • Develop and implement quality control procedures, including clear processes for sampling, testing, and design/manufacturing controls.

  • Conduct regular inspections and testing in alignment with established quality standards.

  • Monitor of all inward and outward inspection.

  • Ensure accurate completion and management of all quality-related documentation including quality records, acceptance certificates, and completion certificates.

  • Monitor and control the status of punch lists and audit points resulting from client inspections and internal/external audits.

  • Organize and oversee calibration and certification of tools, instruments, and equipment.

  • Develop and enforce HSE procedures and policies across the shop floor.

  • Conduct regular HSE inspections and ensure full compliance with applicable legal and internal standards.

  • Perform comprehensive risk assessments to proactively identify and mitigate potential hazards.

  • Monitor ongoing HSE performance and suggest improvements.

  • Facilitate monthly HSE committee meetings and drive continuous safety improvement initiatives.

  • Plan, execute, and evaluate emergency response drills to ensure preparedness.

  • Ensure proper documentation is maintained in line with the organization’s Integrated Management System (IMS).

  • Oversee compliance with internal and external certification requirements and audit readiness.
