Roles & Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and improve the full recruitment cycle, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding new hires across technical and non-technical roles.

  • Develop and maintain HR policies, guidelines, and compliance procedures aligned with local labor laws.

  • Support leadership in workforce planning, performance reviews, and organizational development initiatives.

  • Coordinate employee onboarding and offboarding processes to ensure a seamless experience.

  • Maintain HR records, contracts, and documentation with a high degree of accuracy and confidentiality.

  • Support employee engagement programs, team-building activities, and internal communications.

  • Handle employee relations matters with professionalism and fairness.

  • Collaborate with finance on payroll, benefits, and compensation updates.

  • Monitor and improve workplace culture, ensuring alignment with nakhlas mission and values.

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.

  • 3+ years of professional HR experience, preferably in a startup or tech environment.

  • Strong understanding of labor laws, HR best practices, and compliance standards.

  • Experience managing recruitment pipelines and using ATS tools.

  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and conflict-resolution skills.

  • High level of integrity, confidentiality, and professionalism.

  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.

Nice to Have

  • Experience scaling HR operations in early-stage startups.

  • Familiarity with performance management frameworks (OKRs, KPIs, etc.).

  • Experience designing compensation structures and career paths.

  • Knowledge of HR analytics and reporting tools.
