HVAC Technician

We are seeking a skilled and reliable HVAC Technician to join our construction and MEP team in the UAE. The HVAC Technician will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems across residential, commercial, and industrial projects. The ideal candidate should have strong technical knowledge, experience in construction site operations, and the ability to work efficiently under project deadlines.

Key Responsibilities

• Install HVAC systems including ductwork, piping, chilled water systems, split units, VRF/VRV systems, AHUs, FCUs, and ventilation systems.
• Read and interpret HVAC drawings, layouts, and technical specifications.
• Perform testing, commissioning, and balancing of HVAC systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair HVAC equipment and associated controls.
• Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
• Ensure all installations comply with UAE safety regulations, project specifications, and quality standards.
• Coordinate with engineers, supervisors, and other trades on-site.
• Monitor and maintain tools, equipment, and materials required for HVAC works.
• Maintain records of maintenance activities, inspections, and repairs.
• Identify and report technical issues or delays to the supervisor.
• Follow company HSE policies and site safety procedures at all times.

Requirements

Education & Qualifications

• Diploma or ITI Certificate in HVAC, Mechanical Engineering, Refrigeration, or related field.
• Relevant HVAC certifications are preferred.

Experience

• Minimum 2 5 years of HVAC experience in construction or MEP projects.
• UAE/GCC experience preferred.
• Experience working on commercial towers, villas, malls, hospitals, or industrial projects is an advantage.

Technical Skills

• Knowledge of HVAC installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with VRV/VRF systems, chillers, AHUs, FCUs, and ventilation systems.
• Ability to read HVAC drawings and technical documents.
• Basic understanding of electrical and control systems related to HVAC.
• Familiarity with HVAC testing and commissioning procedures.
