Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Conduct hydrostatic testing of pipelines, pressure vessels, and related equipment, ensuring adherence to established safety protocols and industry standards.
- Perform pre-test inspections, including visual examinations and dimensional checks, to identify potential defects or areas of concern before testing commences.
- Operate and maintain hydro testing equipment, such as pumps, gauges, and recording devices, ensuring proper functionality and calibration.
- Interpret test results, analyze pressure charts, and identify any leaks or anomalies that may compromise the integrity of the tested components.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Possesses a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Holds relevant certifications in hydro testing or a related field (e.g., API 510, API .
- Demonstrates 2+ years of experience in hydro testing, preferably within the oil and gas or petrochemical industry.
- Exhibits a strong understanding of relevant industry standards (e.g., ASME, API, ISO).
