Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Import and Logistics Coordinator to manage purchasing, operations, logistics, and accounts coordination. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the import process, ensuring compliance with regulations, and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers and clients.

 

Key Responsibilities

·       Import Operations Management:

  • Coordinate and monitor the import process, ensuring timely delivery of goods.

  • Supervise deliveries from Bahrain, ensuring compliance with import regulations.

·       Purchasing and Supplier Management:

  • Contact suppliers to request pricing and availability of products.

  • Review and verify purchasing documents against client purchase orders (POs).

·       Logistics Coordination:

  • Liaise with logistics partners to ensure efficient movement of goods.

  • Manage logistics documentation and ensure accuracy throughout the supply chain.

·       Accounts Coordination:

  • Introduce and manage Good Received Notes (GRN) in the Tally system.

  • Ensure all financial documents related to imports and purchases are accurate and up-to-date.

·       Document Management:

  • Take responsibility for ensuring all Letter of Credit (LC) documents are in order and on track.

  • Maintain organized records of all purchasing and shipping documents for audit and review.

Qualification & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.

  • 2+ years of experience in import, logistics, or purchasing roles.

  • Proficiency in Tally or similar accounting software.

  • Strong negotiation and communication skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and work under tight deadlines.

  • Knowledge of import regulations and documentation processes.

  • Familiarity with the Saudi import and export system and requirements.

  • Experience with the SABER system for certification and compliance.

Special Skills, if any:

  • Attention to detail and high level of accuracy.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and logistics management software.

  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
