Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Supporting industrial sites in optimizing production flows and internal logistics, using modeling and dynamic simulation of workshops
Ensure smooth flows, reduce work-in-progress (WIP) and intermediate stocks, eliminate waste related to movements and overstocking, and improve operational performance (lead time, capacity, service, productivity).
Participate in reorganization projects or new installations at existing plants
Analyze end-to-end production and internal logistics flows to identify waste, performance losses and major constraints (bottlenecks, imbalances, queues and interdependencies)
To build and operate dynamic workshop models, integrating ranges, capacities, resources and management rules, in order to simulate several scenarios and measure their impact on industrial performance
Compare different organizational and management scenarios to optimize resource utilization, resolve constraints, and provide structured recommendations based on relevant KPIs.
Define and deploy, with the site teams, flow optimization solutions based on Lean principles and simulation results
To provide cross-site, cross-functional support by developing modeling and simulation standards, while promoting the sharing of best practices and skills development for teams.
