Job Description

AtkinsR alis is looking for a Industrial Hygienist (Facilities Management) in Doha, Qatar.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct regular inspections and assessments of facilities to identify potential health hazards (chemical, biological, physical).
• Develop and implement exposure control plans and hazard mitigation strategies.
• Monitor air quality, noise levels, ventilation, and other environmental factors.
• Perform risk assessments and recommend corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, and other relevant health and safety regulations.
• Maintain records of inspections, incidents, and corrective actions.
• Collaborate with engineering, maintenance, and safety teams to improve facility health standards.
• Provide training and awareness programs for staff on occupational health and hygiene practices.
• Investigate complaints and incidents related to workplace health hazards.
• Stay updated on emerging industrial hygiene technologies and regulatory changes.

Requirements:

• Bachelor s degree in Industrial Hygiene, Environmental Health, Occupational Safety, or related field (Master s preferred).
• Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH) or equivalent certification is highly desirable.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in industrial hygiene, preferably within facilities management or related industries.
• Strong knowledge of occupational health standards, hazard control methods, and regulatory compliance.
• Experience with environmental monitoring equipment and data analysis.
• Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively across departments.
• Proficiency in MS Office and relevant reporting tools.
