Industrial Hygienist

Our client is seeking a qualified and experienced Industrial Hygienist to oversee occupational health and hygiene programs at West Qurna-2 in Iraq. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in occupational health, proven experience in remote international projects, and a commitment to maintaining safe and compliant work environments.

Qualifications:

• Hygiene Doctor diploma.
• Occupational Health certification.
• Fluent English.
• Minimum 5 years of work in specialty.
• Minimum 3 years in remote site medical services on international projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement and monitor occupational health programs in compliance with Company standards and Iraqi law.
• Conduct regular hygiene and food safety inspections in accommodation, canteen, and contractor facilities.
• Monitor and assess workplace environmental hazards (noise, dust, chemicals, etc.).
• Maintain accurate inspection reports and submit findings as per contract requirements.
• Support health promotion, wellness programs, and preventive health initiatives.
• Advise management on occupational health risks and recommend corrective actions.
• Participate in investigations of work-related illnesses and incidents.
• Ensure compliance with HSE standards for occupational health.
