Infection Control Coordinator Ghassan Aboud Group FZE

Responsible for coordinating and evaluating the Infection Prevention and Control (IP&C) Program in place. Responsible for developing, implementing, and monitoring infection control programs to ensure the safety and well-being of patients, staff, and visitors.

Designs, Implements, Coordinates, and evaluates Infection Prevention and Control Program.; communicates and problem solves with staff and management regarding infection control activities by providing guidance and recommendations such as addressing isolation issues, management of infectious diseases, cleaning/disinfection practices, and patient teaching. Investigates, reports, directs, and responds to outbreaks of health acquired infection and other communicable diseases, including coordination of activities for isolation; Coordinates Infectious disease notification to regulatory authority.

Designs, Collects, analyses, Manages, and distributes infection control data and data from surveillance; define action plans to improve infection rates and address problem areas if needed; collects and analyses other data related to vaccine administration.

Completes needs assessment of staff education related to infection control and provides education on related topics through general orientation; supports health care professionals by providing clinical teaching, guidance, research, and other resources that will meet their continuous learning needs.
