The Systems Monitoring and Troubleshooting Individual Contractor will assist the head of unit in multiple current and future tasks and projects in multiple IT technologies.

Duties and responsibilities:

• Assist in monitoring and investigating ICT infrastructure systems i.e. SIEM, Network monitoring, Identity service engine, Wireless controller, etc.
• Assist in monitoring cybersecurity systems i.e. Microsoft Defender, Firewalls, etc.
• Assist the infrastructure and Cybersecurity Operations team to track vulnerabilities and problems identified.
• Assist in contributing to new and ongoing projects using Cloud technologies and virtualization.

Qualifications/special skills:

A First Level University degree in Telecommunication, Information Technology, Computer Science or related area is required. Knowledge of the relevant subjects in at least two of the following areas is required: Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC); Threat, Vulnerability, and Incident Management; BCP/DR; Application Security; Information Security; Network Security; Virtualization; DevOps, Core networking technologies such as switches, wireless infrastructure, firewalls, and network access control systems. Familiarity with modern enterprise platforms and tools for identity services, threat prevention, and cloud integration is desirable.
