Roles & Responsibilities
Job PurposeThe Installation Manager will oversee all aspects of site preparation and readiness, including support installation, and assist with the logistics of shipments and rigging, ensuring efficient and on time execution.InterfacesExternal Interface:Utilities Client Project ManagerProject ConsultantsOther stakeholders, as necessaryInternal InterfaceProject Engineering & Management TeamCommercial teamFinance & Accounts teamHITS TeamDuties & ResponsibilitiesProject Planning and Coordination: Oversee installation timelines, resource allocation and milestone tracking. Coordinate with cross-functional teams: engineering, logistics, field service, and clinical applications.Ensure site readiness in collaboration with hospital or clinic project managers and site manager.Identify risks and mitigation plans.On-site Supervision: Oversee physical installation of HITS.Ensure compliance with safety standards and technical specifications.Act as the point of contact between Toshiba (TESG) and the customer during the installation phase.Team LeadershipManage and assign tasks to on-site technicians and subcontractors. Monitor progress, resolve issues, and escalate when necessary. Co-ordinate to resolve on-site issues.Customer CommunicationServe as the liaison with hospital/clinic stakeholders. Provide updates, manage expectations, and ensure customer satisfaction during the install process.Compliance And DocumentationEnsure all regulatory, QA, and safety protocols are met. Complete installations reports, handover documents, and commissioning checklists.EducationEDUCATION QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE:Bachelor s degree in engineering or a related field.ExperienceA minimum of 10+ years of relevant experience in a People/Resource Management and installation role, preferably in radiotherapy, medical field, and/or MEP engineering. Medical HW/SW technology Dealing with stakeholders in the medical field. In medical instruments installations (X-ray, CT, MRI, Linacs, etc.). Reporting and analysis.Skills & KnowledgeExecute the project as per plan, maintain HSEQ requirements and assist in project cash flow.The ability to explain basic design ideas and plans clearly to the Clients, Project consultants, Engineers Office, Vendors, and Subordinates. Having overall responsibility on project results including risks, opportunities and claims.Strong presentation and communication skills with the ability to present basic, technical information to a wide audience. High competence in technical writing, systems development and utilization.
