Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Ensure all engineering work complies with Saudi Aramco standards, project specifications, and relevant international codes (e.g., IEC, ISA, API).

Perform instrument sizing calculations for control valves, pressure safety valves, and flow elements using industry tools.

Interface with process, electrical, piping, and layout teams to ensure proper integration of instrumentation systems.

Support the preparation of installation drawings, loop diagrams, hook-up details, and cable routing in collaboration with design teams.

Coordinate with vendors and participate in technical bid evaluations, FATs, and vendor document reviews.

Provide engineering support during inter-discipline reviews, design checks, and client meetings.

Assist during construction, commissioning, and offshore support as needed.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Bachelors Degree in Instrumentation, Electrical, or Electronics Engineering.
  • 8-15 years of experience in instrumentation engineering for offshore oil & gas projects.
  • Saudi Aramco offshore project experience is highly preferred.
  • Strong understanding of FEED, Detailed Engineering, and Detailed Design phases in an EPCI environment.
  • Proficiency in engineering software and tools (e.g., SPI/INtools, SmartPlant Instrumentation, or equivalent).
  • Familiarity with offshore platform instrumentation including process control, safety systems, and field instrumentation.
  • Experience in vendor coordination, specification reviews, and FATs.
  • Strong communication and team coordination skills in a multidisciplinary environment.
