Roles & Responsibilities
Job Summary
1. Organize and supervise the activities of electronic/pneumatic/instrument technicians in all fields described below whenever required:
2. Inert gas controlling system.
3. Main and auxiliary engines controlling system, engine alarm and monitoring system. Bilge and ballast water monitoring systems, oil discharge monitoring system. Cargo tanks monitoring, draft measuring and level alarm systems. Pneumatic and electronic viscometers.
4. Automatic voltage regulators, load sharing devices and frequency monitoring devices. Internal communication system.
Fire detection system.
5. Flow control instruments, measuring meters and instruments including portable test meters, gas detecting meters, etc.
6. To ensure safe working practices are maintained at all times.
7. To ensure an acceptable ISO standards of Quality, Environmental, OHSMS, Security Management System, competence of testing and calibration laboratories and American Petroleum Institute (API) Q1 are maintained in accordance with recognized working practices and the Company's QEHS&S Manuals/Procedures and Policies.
Duties & Responsibilities
1. Supervise the day-to-day activities of electronic and instrumentation fitters on board and internal works.
2.Give technical advice/assistance to his workers as and when required. Perform tasks as a Senior Technician assisted by the workers under his supervision.
Desired Candidate Profile
Diploma or equivalent in Electronics/Instrumentation Technology
4 years as Supervisor in the field.
Additional Skills:

Trustworthy, honest & keeps confidentiality.
