Internal Sales or Support Engineer DESCON AUTOMATION CONTROL SYSTEM L.L.C

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES AND AUTHORITIES

Responsibilities include but not limited to the following as specified:

Primary responsible for assisting sales team (external and internal) at Descon Automation.

• Registering enquiries in System Register (Enquiry register), acknowledgement and follow up.

• Review of incoming RFQ documentation and liaison with respective suppliers (external / internal).

• Conduct presales discussions (by virtual meeting /telephone / onsite visit) with customer if received information is unclear.

• Review specifications, Drawings, Control Diagrams. PID’s, BOQ received from customers and understand technical requirements.

• Prepare and submit sales quotations to Team Lead for review and as advised by discipline team leaders.

• Co-ordination with Procurement, Logistics and Assembly departments after receipt of orders.

• The selected candidate would be reporting to the Manager / Head of Section for various sales support related activities in general and PLC / RTU / HMI / SCADA Systems in particular.

• Being assigned as Sales Support Staff your duties will involve extensive documentation responsibilities.

• Preparation of technical compliance to RFQ requirements and selection of deliverables by company.

• Discuss with respective discipline leaders and obtain approvals of estimates with respect to selected deliverables.

• Coordination among team members of Descon Automation (Abu Dhabi / Dubai / Al Ain) for clarification of information as required.

• Regular update of sales registers (Enquiry Register / List of outgoing documents / Weekly Reports)

• Follow up on submitted quotations on regular basis and update respective team leaders including markup on respective system registers.
