Job Description

As an Inventory Controller, you will play a crucial role in managing and streamlining the inventory processes within our organization. Your expertise in logistics and inventory management will enable you to maintain optimal inventory levels and ensure timely availability of products. You will be responsible for overseeing the inventory system, developing accurate inventory forecasts, and closely monitoring supply levels. In addition, you will collaborate with various departments to synchronize inventory needs with operational and business goals. Your analytical thinking and meticulous attention to detail will help in identifying discrepancies, implementing effective inventory control procedures, and enhancing the overall efficiency of inventory operations.


Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain an efficient inventory management system to streamline processes.
  • Monitor inventory levels and conduct regular audits to minimize shortages.
  • Analyze inventory trends and data to forecast future supply needs accurately.
  • Collaborate with purchasing teams to ensure timely reordering of stock items.
  • Manage stock discrepancies and investigate inventory variances to correct them.
  • Develop and enforce inventory control procedures and best practices consistently.
  • Coordinate with suppliers to schedule deliveries and manage lead times effectively.
  • Generate detailed reports on inventory status and performance for management review.
  • Train and guide staff on inventory processes and the use of inventory management system.
  • Optimize storage space and organize stock layout for efficient inventory access.
  • Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards in inventory handling.
  • Implement and maintain a robust stock rotation policy to minimize waste and obsolescence.

Requirements
  • Bachelor s degree in supply chain management, logistics, or related field preferred.
  • Proven experience in inventory management or similar role in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy in data handling.
  • Excellent knowledge of inventory management software and MS Office applications.
  • Ability to develop and implement effective inventory control strategies and processes.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize workload in a fast-changing environment.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills and ability to address inventory discrepancies efficiently.
