Roles & Responsibilities
Job Title: Investment Manager
Department: Global Market Department - Dubai Branch
Location: Dubai, United Arab Emirates
Reporting Line: Reports directly to Head of Global Market Department
Job Purpose / Summary:
The Investment Manager is responsible for formulating and executing the branch's annual
investment plan in line with business objectives and liquidity requirements. The role focuses on
constructing and managing fixed-income portfolios to enhance profitability and ensure liquidity
safety. The position also involves repo trading, counterparty development, and close coordination
with back-office teams to ensure smooth settlement and operational efficiency.
Duties & Responsibilities:
1. Formulate annual investment plans aligned with the branch's business objectives and liquidity
needs, build and manage appropriate bond portfolios to improve profitability and strengthen
liquidity safety.
2. Closely monitor international market developments, proactively identify investment
opportunities, and continuously optimize portfolio structure and performance.
3. Conduct post-investment monitoring by tracking investment targets, issuers, and market
developments to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and head office/branch limits.
4. Coordinate closely with back-office and support teams to ensure timely and accurate settlement
of transactions in accordance with internal procedures.
5. Execute repo transactions based on existing bond inventories or liquidity positions to enhance
asset and fund utilization efficiency.
6. Develop and expand trading counterparties relationships, strengthen market access, and
improve execution capabilities in both onshore/offshore and primary/secondary markets.
7. Undertake other assignments as directed by the Head of Department.

Qualifications & Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or related field (Masters degree)
