Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
The Engineer Irrigation is responsible for overseeing the design, implementation, and maintenance of irrigation systems. This role is pivotal in ensuring efficient water usage and maintaining healthy soil and plant conditions in agricultural, commercial, or public spaces.
- 5 years’ experience in MEP with a Bachelor’s in Mechanical / Irrigation Engineering is a must.
- Experience in designing systems, irrigation requirements and calculations, and pumps maintenance, with driving license
- Maintains accurate records of irrigation system components and inventory.
- Develops and implements water budgets and irrigation schedules, considering soil, climate, plant needs, and specific site conditions.
- Must have GCC experience
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Knowledge of irrigation systems, tools, and safety protocols
- Excellent problem-solving and organizational abilities
- Design and implement efficient irrigation systems tailored to specific crop needs, ensuring optimal water usage and sustainability
Desired Candidate Profile
- Experience in managing teams or projects can be beneficial, especially for larger scale irrigation operations
- A minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in irrigation design and management
- Experience in agricultural environments or water resource management sectors to ensure practical understanding of irrigation needs.
