Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Design and implement robust backup and recovery strategies tailored to specific data types and business requirements, ensuring data integrity and availability.
- Administer and troubleshoot backup infrastructure, including hardware, software, and network components, to maintain optimal performance and reliability.
- Monitor backup jobs, analyze logs, and proactively address any issues or failures, minimizing downtime and data loss risks.
- Perform regular data restoration tests to validate backup integrity and recovery procedures, ensuring business continuity.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Possesses a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Holds relevant certifications such as VEEAM Certified Engineer (VMCE), Dell EMC Proven Professional, or similar, demonstrating expertise.
- Has 3-5 years of experience in backup and recovery administration, with a strong understanding of data protection principles.
- Demonstrates proficiency in backup and recovery solutions like Veeam, Commvault, Dell EMC NetWorker, or similar technologies.
