Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
Deployment of Apple Devices: Plan, execute, and oversee the deployment of Apple devices, including MacBooks, iPads, and iPhones, into business environments, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems.
Fleet Management: Manage and maintain large-scale Apple device fleets, ensuring optimal performance, scalability, and compliance with organizational policies.
MacBook Expertise: Leverage specialized experience in managing MacBooks, including configuration, troubleshooting, and optimization for business use cases.
Identity Management: Implement and manage identity management solutions (e.g., Jamf Connect, Okta, or Azure AD) to ensure secure access and user authentication across Apple devices.
Security Compliance: Enforce security best practices, including encryption, endpoint protection, and compliance with industry standards (e.g., ISO 27001, GDPR).
Remote Management: Administer remote management tools (e.g., Jamf Pro, Intune, or Apple Business Manager) to monitor, update, and troubleshoot devices efficiently.
Professional Services: Provide expert consultation and support to stakeholders, delivering tailored solutions to meet business needs and enhance user experience.
Documentation and Training: Develop documentation, policies, and training materials to support end-users and IT teams in adopting Apple technologies.
Qualifications
Technical Skills: Proficiency in Apple ecosystem tools (e.g., Apple Business Manager, macOS Server) and mobile device management (MDM) platforms like Jamf Pro, Intune, or AirWatch.
Knowledge Areas:
Strong understanding of identity management systems (e.g., Okta, Azure AD, or Jamf Connect).
Expertise in security protocols for Apple devices, including FileVault, Gatekeeper, and secure boot.
Experience with remote management and automation tools for device provisioning and updates.
Familiarity with professional services delivery, including client consultation and project management.
Desired Candidate Profile
Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in deploying and managing Apple devices in enterprise environments, with specific expertise in MacBook management.
Certifications: Relevant certifications such as Jamf Certified Administrator, Apple Certified Support Professional (ACSP), Apple Certified IT Professional (ACITP), or equivalent. Certifications in related technologies (e.g., CompTIA Security+, Microsoft Intune) are a plus.
Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving abilities, strong communication skills, and a client-focused mindset to deliver high-quality solutions.
Education: Bachelor s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (preferred but not mandatory with equivalent experience).
