Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Provide onsite IT support to Hexcel end users at the Casablanca plant.
- Record, troubleshoot, and resolve service desk requests via phone or remote access within SLA targets.
- Monitor, update, and escalate tickets within the Global Service Desk ITSM system.
- Install, configure, and set up new PC hardware and software following established standards.
- Collaborate with global technology teams to diagnose and resolve network, system, and service-related issues.
- Raise incident notifications and support service restoration activities when disruptions occur.
- Maintain accurate documentation of incidents, changes, production processes, and all site IT assets.
- Work closely with Engineering and Implementation teams, applying advanced analytical and problem solving skills.
- Participate in on call and out of hours support, while independently managing and leading IT projects in Morocco.
- Provide guidance on business processes across Hexcel applications, leveraging strong knowledge of ERP and manufacturing systems.
Desired Candidate Profile
Qualifications:
- IT related Engineering degree
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT support, with strong technical expertise.
- Solid knowledge of PC hardware technologies, including installation, maintenance, and repair.
- Strong understanding of current Windows operating systems for both servers and workstations.
- Effective analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to take initiative and resolve recurring issues.
- Demonstrated experience training or coaching users on IT solutions across all levels of the organisation.
- Customer focused attitude with the ability to interact professionally and proactively with users at all levels.
- Ability to manage projects and communicate clearly with diverse stakeholders, supported by excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in English required; French is an asset. Flexibility to work additional hours when needed based on business demands.
