Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support, maintain, develop and integrate critical information systems belonging to Regulated client with electronic networks and servers ensures the smoothness, effectiveness and security of the IT infrastructure and digital systems implemented within the department.

  • In addition to providing technical and IT support for Employees. In addition to communication with IT Production teams based on the directives of the line manager.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • 4–6 years of hands‑on experience in IT Infrastructure Support / Systems Administration

  • Strong experience supporting Windows & Linux environments, including installation, configuration, patching, and troubleshooting

  • Solid understanding of network fundamentals (switching, routing, firewalls, VPN, Wi‑Fi)

  • Experience managing Active Directory, Group Policies, DNS, DHCP, and user access controls

  • Ability to provide Level‑1 & Level‑2 technical support for hardware, software, network, and system issues

  • Experience supporting critical internal systems, ensuring uptime, stability, and secure operations

  • Hands‑on experience with backup operations, restore testing, and data protection procedures

  • Ability to monitor and maintain servers, storage, and core IT infrastructure equipment

  • Experience coordinating with internal IT teams for planned/unplanned outages, incidents, and escalations

  • Strong documentation skills for SOPs, incident logs, configuration records, and daily reports

  • Knowledge of IT security practices, access management, and compliance with organizational policies

  • Basic scripting knowledge (PowerShell, Bash, or Python) for automation and routine tasks

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field

  • Excellent communication skills to support department staff and VIP users professionally

  • Programming skills: Knowledgeable with programming and coding.

  • Project Management Skills: Plan, Manage, Implement Projects.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience working in highly regulated environments

  • Familiarity with UAE IT standards, security guidelines, and compliance frameworks

  • Exposure to virtualization platforms (VMware, Hyper‑V)

  • Experience with infrastructure monitoring tools (Zabbix, SolarWinds, PRTG, etc.)

  • Certifications such as CCNA, MCSA/MCSE, ITIL, Network+, Security+

  • Ability to coordinate with vendors and external service providers

  • Experience working in shift‑based or high‑availability environments
