Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Install, terminate, test, and certify structured cabling systems (Cat5e, Cat6, Cat6a)
Execute fibre optic works including cable laying, splicing, termination, and testing
Configure and deploy networking equipment such as switches, routers, wireless access points, and firewalls
Install and commission CCTV systems including IP cameras, NVR/DVR, and remote viewing setup
Install and configure access control systems including biometric readers, card-based systems, and magnetic locks
Install and configure audio-visual systems for meeting rooms and conference setups
Conduct site surveys, cable pathway planning, and prepare material requirement lists
Perform system testing, troubleshooting, and project handover documentation
Coordinate with clients on-site regarding project requirements and updates
Provide post-installation support and attend AMC service calls when required
Desired Candidate Profile
Required Qualifications
Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, IT, Networking, or related field
1–3 years of hands-on experience in IT infrastructure or low-current systems installation
Knowledge of structured cabling standards and fibre optic installation
Basic knowledge of IP networking such as VLAN, DHCP, DNS, and firewall configuration
Experience with CCTV systems and access control systems
Ability to read floor plans, cable drawings, and basic electrical diagrams
Valid UAE Driving License (Mandatory)
Physically fit for site work
Preferred Qualifications
CCNA, CompTIA Network+, or BICSI certification
Experience with AV systems installation
Knowledge of CCTV and access control regulations in the UAE
