Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

The IT Manager is responsible for establishing and managing all hotel technology systems to support seamless operations and exceptional guest experiences. From pre-opening setup to ongoing maintenance and innovation, this role ensures the hotel s digital infrastructure is secure, efficient, and aligned with brand standards.

What you ll do...

Pre-Opening:

  • Oversee the implementation and setup of all IT infrastructure (hardware, software, networks, telecoms, and AV systems).

  • Collaborate with corporate IT, design, and operational teams to ensure technology aligns with brand standards and business needs.

  • Liaise with vendors and contractors to ensure timely and compliant installation of systems.

  • Set up cybersecurity protocols and ensure compliance with local data protection regulations.

  • Prepare IT SOPs, documentation, and disaster recovery plans.

  • Support the setup and integration of PMS, POS, key card access, IPTV, Wi-Fi, CCTV, and other critical systems.

  • Train operational leaders and end-users on new systems prior to opening.

Operational:

  • Manage daily IT operations including troubleshooting, maintenance, and user support.

  • Ensure system uptime, reliability, and data security across all hotel platforms.

  • Maintain servers, switches, routers, firewalls, and backups according to IT best practices.

  • Coordinate with third-party vendors for system updates, support, and warranties.

  • Monitor network performance and implement improvements as required.

  • Support the front office, F&B, reservations, finance, and sales departments in all tech-related matters.

  • Oversee and support the integration of guest-facing technology (mobile apps, smart room features, etc.).

Team Leadership:

  • Lead the IT support team, ensuring service excellence and professional development.

  • Provide training to colleagues on tech use, security awareness, and digital tools.

  • Foster a proactive, solution-oriented IT culture that aligns with the hotel s service ethos.

Brand & Culture Contribution:

  • Ensure all IT touchpoints reflect the brand s lifestyle DNA and guest experience philosophy.

  • Support tech-driven guest personalization initiatives and digital storytelling.

  • Be a brand ambassador in digital innovation, sustainability, and efficiency through smart tech.

Desired Candidate Profile

What we re looking for /

  • Bachelor s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in IT management, preferably in luxury or lifestyle hospitality.

  • Proven experience in hotel system setup and integration (PMS, POS, Wi-Fi, CCTV, etc.).

  • Strong understanding of cybersecurity, networking, and server infrastructure.

  • Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and project management skills.

  • Strong communication skills with the ability to train and support non-technical users.

  • Fluency in English required; Arabic is a plus.

  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and respond to emergency issues as needed.
