Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Administer, maintain, and optimize LAN/WAN infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless networks to ensure seamless connectivity across the organization.
Monitor network performance, bandwidth utilization, and system availability while proactively identifying and resolving potential issues.
Troubleshoot network, connectivity, and hardware/software-related problems to minimize downtime and improve operational efficiency.
Configure and manage network security solutions, including firewalls, VPNs, intrusion prevention systems, and access control policies to safeguard company data and systems.
Implement network upgrades, patches, and enhancements to maintain high levels of security, reliability, and performance.
Provide technical support for enterprise network infrastructure, remote access solutions, and end-user connectivity issues.
Collaborate with IT teams and vendors to support infrastructure projects, system integrations, and network expansion initiatives.
Maintain accurate documentation of network configurations, troubleshooting procedures, and security protocols.
Ensure compliance with organizational IT standards, cybersecurity policies, and best practices.
Assist in disaster recovery planning, backup solutions, and business continuity initiatives related to network operations.
Desired Candidate Profile
2+ years of experience as an IT Engineer, Network Engineer, or in a similar technical support role.
Strong understanding of networking concepts and protocols, including TCP/IP, VLAN, DNS, DHCP, VPN, and routing/switching technologies.
Hands-on experience with network security, firewall management, and troubleshooting complex connectivity issues.
Familiarity with enterprise-grade networking equipment and wireless technologies.
Ability to analyze technical problems, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions in a timely manner.
A positive, confident, and proactive approach with strong problem-solving abilities.
Good communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize workload, and work under pressure when required.
Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices and IT infrastructure monitoring tools will be an added
