Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
In close collaboration with a PMO you will create and present status reports to senior management. Furthermore, you will be responsible for collecting and documenting project issues and are able to take appropriate action when escalations occurs in a timely manner. At the completion of the project, lessons learned are captured and communicated to project management office and service delivery streams.
You are a charismatic project leader that shares responsibility with the project leadership team for providing a good working environment. Ensures teams are staffed, duties and responsibilities are understood by everyone whereby an inclusive environment is maintained.
Desired Candidate Profile
As an IT Project Manager you will develop an effective plan for controlling the project scope, schedule and cost baseline. Monitoring the project execution is part of the job to ensure that the plan is being followed. You will setup a plan for communicating project information to project team and stakeholders.
Requirements
- Bachelor degree;
- 5-8 years of related experience;
- Experience in systems development and project management across a variety of technical platforms;
- PMP / PrinceII / Agile Scrum certified;
- Must be proficient with Microsoft Project, PowerPoint, Word and Excel;
- Exceptional written and oral communication skills;
- Exceptional prioritization and project management skills with a strong attention to detail;
- Ability to organize other teams and adapt a style to what is effective for each team;
- Takes responsibility and drives team members to deliverables;
- Have a result oriented focus and ability to communicate to a wide variety of audiences, both business and technical;
- Experience managing techincal projects.
