IT Security Advisor

As an IT Security Advisor you will be involved in improving the Information Risk and Security Management function at client s organization to respond to increasing cyber security threats. You will use your knowledge and subject matter expertise to help the client to assess, design, build and implement effective security solutions based on Information Security Standards, internal security processes and best practice encompassing relevant regulatory, industry and legislative requirements.

Requirements

• Master s Degree with a focus in Information Systems / Computer Science / Information Security;
• Relevant security certifications are desirable such as CISSP, CISM or CISA
• Proven track record and in-depth knowledge of security consulting;
• Experience in implementing technical security controls and architectures in complex IS infrastructures;
• Extensive knowlegde of native logging (Syslog) and monitoring of IT infra components;
• Excellent knowledge of regulatory IT frameworks (ADSIC, ISR, NESA);
• Excellent knowledge of information security concepts and control frameworks (ISO27001/2) and IT Service Management frameworks (ITILv3);
• Excellent technical writing capabilities in English, and preferably Arabic;
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills, both written and verbal, are essential in order to explain complex security concepts to various management levels in an organization;
• Proven track record with working in large organizations with security and risk consulting;
• No 9-to-5 work mentality;
• Comfortable to work in a dynamic and changing IT environment;
• Experienced with solving complex technical security issues through design of security controls within a development lifecycle, provide recommendations to operational processes in service delivery;
• 5-8 years of experience in the field of Information Security.
