Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Provide first-line technical support via phone, email, and chat, ensuring quick resolution of user issues across various platforms.

  • Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware and software problems, utilizing remote access tools to expedite solutions without on-site visits.

  • Manage user accounts, permissions, and access rights in accordance with company policies, ensuring data security and compliance.

  • Assist in the setup and configuration of new hardware and software, ensuring users are equipped with the necessary tools to perform their duties.

  • Troubleshooting hardware, software, and network problems.

  • Hardware and Software Maintenance Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware and software. This includes upgrading systems, applying patches and updates, and ensuring equipment is in good working order.

  • Network Management and maintain the organization's network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points. Ensure network security and monitor for any anomalies or potential threats.

  • Data Backup and Recovery. Implement data backup and recovery solutions to safeguard critical organizational data. Test and verify backups to ensure data integrity.

  • Implement and enforce IT security policies and procedures to protect against data breaches, malware, and unauthorized access. Stay current on security threats and best practices.

  • Train end-users on IT best practices, security protocols, and the proper use of hardware and software tools.

  • Assess IT needs and recommend hardware and software purchases. Negotiate with vendors and manage procurement processes.

  • Maintain documentation of IT systems, configurations

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, showcasing a solid educational foundation.
  • Relevant certifications such as CompTIA A+, ITIL, or Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate, demonstrating technical expertise.
  • A minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in IT support roles, showcasing the ability to handle diverse technical challenges.
  • Experience in a corporate IT environment, with a preference for candidates who have worked in fast-paced settings.
