Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Provide day-to-day technical support to end users for hardware, software, and network related issues.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to desktops, laptops, printers, scanners, and other IT equipment.
Install, configure, and maintain Windows operating systems and standard business applications.
Support Microsoft 365 services including Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, and SharePoint.
Create, modify, and manage user accounts, email accounts, and access permissions.
Perform basic network troubleshooting (LAN, Wi-Fi, IP addressing, connectivity issues).
Assist with setup and maintenance of network devices such as switches, access points, and routers .
Handle IT onboarding and offboarding tasks (device setup, account creation, access removal).
Monitor system performance and report issues proactively.
Apply system updates, patches, antivirus updates, and basic security configurations.
Maintain IT assets inventory and update documentation regularly.
Log, track, and follow up on IT support tickets until resolution.
Coordinate with vendors and external support providers when required.
Follow IT policies, procedures, and security guidelines.
Support meeting rooms, video conferencing systems, and office IT setups.
Provide basic user training and guidance when needed.
Serve as the primary point of contact for all IT support requests through the ManageEngine Helpdesk portal.
Fully manage the helpdesk ticket lifecycle in ManageEngine (logging, prioritizing, updating, resolving, and closing tickets).
Ensure all tickets are handled in accordance with defined SLAs and internal IT procedures.
Desired Candidate Profile
Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or a related field.
Minimum 3+ years of hands-on experience in an IT Support or Helpdesk role.
Strong experience using ManageEngine Helpdesk for ticket management and reporting.
Good knowledge of Windows OS and Microsoft 365.
Basic understanding of networking fundamentals.
Strong troubleshooting, time management, and communication skills.
Ability to handle multiple tickets and work under pressure.
English proficiency (written and spoken) is required.
