Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Operate and manage IT systems and infrastructure components (servers, operating systems, applications, services, and related tools).
Monitor system health and performance using logging/monitoring tools; detect, triage, and escalate issues./p>
Provide technical support for internal users and operational teams (Tier 2 support preferred)./p>
Troubleshoot and resolve incidents; assist with root cause analysis where required./p>
Perform routine system maintenance activities (updates, patches, backups, and validation)./p>
Support networking operations including connectivity checks and basic network/service validation./p>
Maintain accurate tickets, documentation, runbooks, and operational procedures./p>
Assist with capacity planning, performance reporting, and continuous improvement of operational processes./p>
Collaborate with vendors and internal teams to implement changes and enhancements./p>
Desired Candidate Profile
Bachelor s degree in Computer Engineering, IT, Computer Science, or a related field.
2+ years of experience in IT operations, system administration, or technical support (production environment experience preferred).
Strong understanding of:
o Operating systems (Windows/Linux or both)
o Networking basics (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, routing concepts, firewall concepts)
o Services and troubleshooting methodologies
Experience using monitoring and ticketing tools (ServiceNow/Jira or similar).
Knowledge of incident management and basic service management practices.
Ability to work shifts or on-call if required (where applicable).
