IT Professional – Server, Database & Security Specialist � Location: Dubai, United Arab Emirates � Employment Type: Full-Time We are seeking a highly skilled IT Professional to join our team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing Linux servers, optimising database performance, and ensuring the highest levels of system security. This role requires strong hands-on technical expertise and the ability to manage secure, high-performance environments. Experience working with investment, fintech, or financial platforms will be considered a strong advantage. Key Responsibilities Server Administration Manage and maintain Linux VPS servers (Ubuntu/CentOS) Configure and manage hosting environments using CyberPanel Perform server management via SSH and command-line operations Monitor server performance, uptime, and resource utilization Troubleshoot server-related issues and ensure system availability Database Management Design, manage, and optimize MySQL database structures Perform database backups and restoration procedures Troubleshoot database performance issues and errors Securely manage large user databases with a focus on data protection Ensure data integrity and system reliability Security & Protection Implement website and server security best practices Detect and prevent hacking attempts, bot attacks, and unauthorized access Configure and manage Cloudflare security services Implement firewall configurations and IP blocking strategies Monitor vulnerabilities and apply necessary security updates Requirements Proven experience in Linux server administration (Ubuntu/CentOS) Strong command-line and SSH experience Advanced knowledge of MySQL database management Experience with Cloudflare, firewall configuration, and security hardening Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles Ability to work independently and respond effectively to incidents Preferred Qualifications Experience working with investment, fintech, or financial platforms Understanding of data protection standards and secure financial systems Experience managing high-traffic or high-availability systems What We Offer Competitive salary aligned with the Dubai market Opportunity to work in a fast-growing, technology-driven environment Career growth opportunities within a secure and innovative platform
