Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Identifying the hardware and software needed to provide solutions to problems.
  • Updating computer systems and networks
  • Assisting in the customization and adaptation of existing programs to meet users' requirements
  • Installing and downloading the appropriate software.
  • Connecting users to networks and providing initial training in facilities and applications.
  • Liaising with the vendor’s hardware and software.
  • Evaluating improvements and benefits that could be derived from the modification of existing systems.
  • Locating and correcting discrepancies in operating system and testing programs, including monitoring data and messages appearing on the server.
  • Administering the Local Area Network.
  • Creating users for the network and setting up security set-up for each user.
  • Maintaining the safety of software operations, including anti-virus scanning.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • 2-3 years’ experience as an IT Technician or Programmer within the UAE.
  • Diploma/ Certificate in a related post.
  • Fluent in English.
  • UAE Driver's License.
