Java Software Engineer

I am looking for experienced Backend Developers to join my client on an initial 9-month contract, working fully remote. This initiative is building a modern digital trading platform through an agile, squad-based delivery model, covering end-to-end development, testing, and release of core features such as onboarding, local brokerage, portfolio management, and mutual funds.

As part of the team, you ll embed DevSecOps practices to ensure security and scalability, and support the hyper care phase, knowledge transfer, and structured handover.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement backend services using Java Spring Boot within OpenShift environments.
• Work with microservices architecture, ensuring robust CI/CD pipelines and container orchestration.
• Design and integrate APIs, ensuring secure coding practices and high performance.
• Collaborate in agile delivery squads to deliver platform features end-to-end.
• Support testing, hyper care, and knowledge transfer to ensure sustainable platform management.

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in backend software engineering.
• Strong expertise in Java Spring Boot development within OpenShift.
• Solid understanding of microservices, CI/CD, and container orchestration.
• Proficiency in API design, secure coding, and performance optimization.
• Familiarity with DevSecOps practices and agile methodologies.
• Experience in trading or financial services platforms is a strong plus.
