Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Calibrate, troubleshoot, and maintain a variety of field instrumentation, including pressure transmitters, flow meters, and temperature sensors to ensure accurate process measurements.
  • Perform loop checks and functional testing of control systems, verifying proper operation and identifying any discrepancies in the process control logic.
  • Read and interpret P&IDs, electrical schematics, and instrument datasheets to diagnose and resolve instrumentation-related issues effectively.
  • Conduct regular inspections and preventative maintenance on instrumentation equipment to maximize equipment uptime and reliability.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Possesses a Bachelor's degree in Instrumentation Engineering or a related field, demonstrating a strong foundation in instrumentation principles.
  • Holds relevant certifications such as ISA Certified Automation Professional (CAP), showcasing a commitment to professional development.
  • Demonstrates a minimum of 3-5 years of hands-on experience in instrumentation within the oil and gas or petrochemical industry.
  • Exhibits proficiency in using various calibration and testing equipment, ensuring accurate measurement and control.
