Roles & Responsibilities
Job Description:
We are seeking a Junior BIM Coordinator – MEP with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in building services projects. The candidate will support the BIM Manager and MEP coordination team in developing, managing, and coordinating BIM models in accordance with project and company standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, update, and manage MEP BIM models (HVAC, Plumbing, Fire Fighting, Electrical) using Revit
- Assist in MEP coordination and clash detection using Navisworks
- Prepare and update shop drawings, coordinated drawings, and as-built models
- Ensure BIM models comply with project BIM Execution Plan (BEP) and standards
- Coordinate with design, site, and construction teams to resolve clashes and design issues
- Support quantity take-offs and material extraction from BIM models
- Maintain model accuracy as per latest approved drawings and site conditions
- Participate in BIM coordination meetings and implement agreed actions
Software Skills Required:
- Autodesk Revit (MEP)
- Autodesk Navisworks
- AutoCAD
- Basic understanding of BIM standards, LOD, and workflows
Desired Candidate Profile
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical / Electrical / Building Services Engineering
- Minimum 2 years experience as BIM Modeler / Jr. BIM Coordinator (MEP)
- Experience in UAE or GCC projects preferred
- Good understanding of MEP systems and construction practices
- Ability to work under supervision and meet project deadlines
- Good communication and coordination skills
