Junior Accountant - Adidas Franchise Unit

SCOPE OF THE JOB:

The Junior Accountant is responsible for daily reconciliations, accurate bookkeeping, and supporting the monthly financial closing for all adidas branches.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Accounts Payable & Vendor Management

Record expense invoices and reconcile vendor accounts to maintain accurate payables

Assist in categorizing adidas invoices

Send yearly balance confirmations and reconcile vendor SOA


Reporting & Data Management

Monitor and update store voucher usage in the shared tracking file

Upload monthly bank statements into the financial system

Extract on-hand inventory and net sales data from Retail Pro for reporting and analysis

Verify the credit cards report and prepare the necessary reconciliations

Extract and update adidas invoice status report


Bank Reconciliation

Reconcile daily sales between fiscal printer, Z-report, and Navision

Process bank deposits and verify the accuracy of credit card transactions

Perform daily and monthly bank reconciliations to ensure alignment with financial records

Perform other duties that are aligned & related to the job scope.


JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Education: Bachelor s degree in Accounting or Finance

Experience: At least 1 year of general accounting experience at related industries

Linguistic Skills: Advanced in written & spoken English, French is a plus

Computer Skills: Extensive knowledge in MS Office
